Ingredients
- 2 double thick pork chops
- ½ cup “Mother’s Prize” Apple Butter
- 1 cup bread crumbs
- 1 clove garlic, slivered
- ½ bay leaf
- Salt & Pepper ro4 taste
- 1 Tbl Parsley
- Olive oil
Directions
Set oven to 375. Mix bread crumbs, salt & pepper & parsley together in a baking dish. Brush ovenproof dish with olive oil. Make a slit in each pork chop. Insert a ¼ piece of bay leaf and a couple of slivers of garlic into the slit.
Brush pork chops with “Mother’s Prize” Apple Butter on both sides & dip in bread crumb mixture. Place in oven proof dish and sprinkle with olive oil. Bake 35 min or until the meat thermometer reads 140. Cover with foil & let rest 10 minutes.
Serve with “Mother’s Prize” McIntosh Applesauce
